Payment & Refund Policy

I AM LAW offers a 7-day free trial on all subscription plans. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, your account will automatically revert to a read-only free tier unless you choose to subscribe.

We will send you a reminder email 24 hours before your trial expires.

Subscription fees are billed in South African Rand (ZAR) and charged monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected at sign-up.

All prices include VAT where applicable. Annual subscriptions are charged as a single upfront payment and save approximately 17% compared to monthly billing.

You will receive a tax invoice via email for each billing cycle.

We accept major South African debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) via our secure payment processor. No card details are stored on our servers. All transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.

EFT payment is available for annual Champion plans on request — contact billing@justice4me.co.za.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then.

Cancellations do not entitle you to a pro-rata refund of the remaining period unless you are within the 7-day refund window described in section 5.

Subscription refund window: If you are dissatisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the charge date, provided that you have not generated or downloaded any AI-drafted documents during that period.

Once-off product packs: Once a document pack has been generated and delivered to your account, it is non-refundable. This is because the AI service has been rendered and computational costs have been incurred.

Technical failure refunds: If a payment was charged and the service was not delivered due to a technical fault on our side, you will receive a full refund within 5 business days. Please report these issues to support@justice4me.co.za.

How to request a refund: Email billing@justice4me.co.za with your account email, the date of the charge, and the reason for your request. We will respond within 2 business days.

Qualifying applicants may receive subsidised access to I AM LAW, up to 100% of the subscription cost. Financial aid does not entitle the recipient to a cash refund — it is a service subsidy only.

We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Most billing issues can be resolved within 2 business days. Unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension of your account.

I AM LAW does not store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials. All payment data is handled exclusively by our payment processor. Your personal information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), 2013.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and will take effect 14 days after notification. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
